Working in the field of wood flooring since 1999 and taught by a few generations of master craftsman, I have an extensive knowledge of the aesthetics and construction of many types of wood floors.
Over the years I have worked with many domestic clients to realise their dream wood floors, also working with designers, architects and subcontracting to other flooring companies to produce beautiful wood floors for their projects.

A new lease of life for your existing wood floors
If your wood floor is looking tired and shabby, or when renovating you discover a wood floor under the carpet we can make them look brand new again or even give them a new look with high quality wood stains, oils, lacquers and waxes.
We have many different sanding techniques that are virtually dust free, from light sanding to keep the original patina and shape of the floor to full resurfacing for that brand new look.
We can provide you with the right cleaning products for your chosen finish or provide a maintenance schedule to keep your floors looking pristine.

We install all kinds of subfloors to make a structurally sound base for your floor. We also have flooring systems that work with underfloor heating.

Scout Hall
Oak herringbone restoration, finished with a base coat and 3 coats of commercial lacquer.
"This is a well used hall and left untreated for many years leaving it difficult to clean. It had also been patched up over the years with concrete, large patches of the floor had become de-bonded from the subfloor making them loose and noisy under foot.
Olly and his team repaired the concrete patches with reclaim oak blocks to match the existing and carefully lifted the loose areas and re-bonded them with specialist glue. After sanding and finishing the floors with commercial lacquer they looked amazing and are now easy to clean. They were efficient and worked with us to keep the hall operating when needed throughout the refurbishment which was much appreciated"

Basement Apartment
Oak ratio pattern restoration with hearth removal and repair.
"We had 3 parquet floors in our house which had been unloved and damaged. Each floor was a different type of wood and all needed restoration.
In the living room blocks had been removed for pipe work and the gaps filled with cement.
In the study there was the remains of an old fireplace, it was a real mess. In fact I thought it would be impossible to save the living room floor.
Olly did a brilliant job sourcing the old blocks for the ones missing and to replace the hearth. The work was outstanding and the attention to detail was truly professional.
We now have 3 fabulous floors. All perfect."

Victorian pine floorboard restoration with removal and repair of patched areas, finished with stain and oil.

New oak herringbone parquet with 100mm wide border.
The subfloor was pine floorboards which needed securing correctly before we glued and stapled 9mm ply over them as our new solid subfloor ready to receive the oak herringbone parquet battens.
